Oatly X EH9 Zero Waste Latte Art Throwdown

Last Friday Oatly popped by the store to help host the second latter art throwdown in store but, the FIRST SCOTTISH ZERO WASTE Latter Art Tournament. Heats for the tournament take place across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen, with the winner having a chance to participate in the next stage in Edinburgh and even the chance to participate in the final in Copenhagen! The competition saw 15 baristas battle it out to take top spot in a knockout competition, with Lewis eventually taking home the victory and doing EH9 proud.

The event saw lots of Oatly branded goodies, from badges to clobber. Alongside free beverages and scran provided by Luigi’s Pizzeria. The zero waste in the tournament came from the leftover latter art. Which, instead of being disposed, was turned into beautiful oat White Russians and helped to add to the great vibes.

The latte throwdowns are such as great in store event for us. It’s so fun seeing everyone so passionate about what they are competing in and having a blast while doing so. We’re super grateful that Oatly decided to go with us for the event and just had such a blast throughout! Huge thank you for everyone for coming along and showing your support, and big up to Lewis who will hopefully be on his way to Copenhagen!!
