WELL-BREWING: A WELLNESS EVENT FOR BARISTAS

We are excited to invite you to join our "Well-Brewing” events, a wellbeing and yoga workshop hosted by Nomad Yoga and EH9.

This is a special wellness workshop designed specifically for Baristas, with Baristas, to help you focus on your wellbeing, introduce you to the benefits of yoga and give you some dedicated time to look after yourself.

Led by Jessica Dursley (Nomad Yoga Studio) in collaboration with the EH9 team, this yoga workshop is perfect for all levels, especially those new to yoga. Join us to explore the basics of mindful movement and breath work and discover how yoga can enhance your physical and mental wellbeing, and help you navigate the day to day challenges of being behind the coffee bar.

Whether you're looking to stretch, breathe, or simply relax, we encourage you to join us for this wonderful opportunity to connect with ourselves and each other.

Register: At the Moment, these events are free and supported by EH9’s wellness fund. you can grab your free ticket for our next event on 10th November Here.

What to Expect:

You will be guided through a gentle yoga flow, introducing you to some foundational postures, focusing on key areas of the body that are often impacted by the role of Barista. The yoga practice will be beginner friendly, with plenty of variations to meet you at your energy, flexibility and strength levels. You will also be introduced to Pranayama, which is yoga breathwork, to learn techniques to help you de-stress and calm the nervous system. We will finish with a relaxing meditation in Savasana, to rest your mind and body.

EH9 will be serving up a post class decaf batch brew to finish off the experience.

What to Bring:

All equipment including mats and props will be provided, but you may wish to bring a bottle of water and a small towel.

What to Wear:

We recommend wearing loose comfortable clothing that you can move in, such as your typical active wear. The studio will be a warm temperature, but you may wish to wear a layer that you can add/remove as your body heats up and cools throughout the practice. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot, to help with grip, although socks can be worn and taken off when needed/desired.

This is a free event, but we kindly ask for your commitment. If you can no longer make it, please let us know so that we can offer your place to someone else. Spaces are limited. This event is supported by EH9's wellness programme fund.

Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early, to settle in to the space, ready for the yoga class to begin on time.

We hope to see you there for some fun, relaxation and a (decaf) brew.
